Zenith Martial Arts Stage 1 Logo Design
This website was By Wild's first major 3D flash development and design.

We started out with a 2 dimensional logo which was black and white. This was the original logo of Zenith Martial Arts and the first change By Wild made was to the design of the text and font. The Team cleaned the font up and changed the colour from the original black to red.

Sensei Andy Rae chose a website design layout he liked and said he would like the logo converted to 3D. He wanted the logo to rotate and be in his club colours.

The Team started work on 2 different versions of the website design – a Black and Red version and a Silver version with slightly different 3D characteristics.

The Team had two 3D Flash Demo's to show Sensei Andy Rae so we put them online for him to have a look at. After viewing them he decided he liked the Silver version.

Stage 2 - Getting Online
By Wild registered the domain name and began setting up a fast host because, with a flash logo, we needed to have a bit of speed for users to make sure no slow down was involved.

By Wild set up the email server and put a temporary web site online with information that would be used on the completed website. This was done to get a head start on the indexing of the site by the Search Engines.

Stage 3 - Website Design
We modified the silver version of the new logo to fit into the flash header. Sensei Andy's preference was for the logo to start in the middle and move to the left hand side of the web page.

By Wild also started on the menu system which was to go under the Flash header. We designed it so the website owner could change a simple text file to alter or modify any part of the menu with minimum fuss or bother. Main menu's, sub categories and sub sub categories were chosen to be put in place so it would be easy to add a shopping cart to the design at a later stage if needed.

Stage 4 - Flash Design
Once the 3D logo was in place the team added a series of text animations to the web site design. The site owner wanted the “Zenith Martial Arts” text to start small, zoom forward then go back to a standard size. He also wanted the text to change colour from red to white and back again. The Team at By Wild also made this text easily changeable from a small text file so the owner could change part, or all, of the text at any time with no loss to the quality or appearance of the text.

Stage 5 - Sound
The team at By Wild felt some sound would be nice when the file was loading and Sensei Andy agreed. He chose a piece with Taiko Drums (Japanese Drums) and, once this was put into place, the feeling of musical timing with the flash file pleased him very much.

Stage 6 - Finishing Touches
Once the front page flash header was finalised a static version was made for the rest of the websites pages to give a united, professional, look and feel to the overall design of the website.

Stage 7 - Reults
The website is now appearing in all major search engine results. Google Australia places the website on page 1 for the keyword phrase "Martial Arts" "Children's Martial Arts" "Martial Arts Online Shop" "Google images" sends many visitors to the pages containing martial arts images and videos. Google also gave the site a page rank of 4 meaning they ranked the page as more important than other, similar, pages. The web site is appearing on the first page of the results of a search for “martial arts techniques” and "martial arts fitness" in msn and appears on the first page of the Yahoo search results for “martial arts”. Sensai Andy Rae constantly updates the news and events page and his photo gallery so this website has become another By Wild success story.
